Questions
Pricing FAQ
Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
Nope. The 14-day trial needs no card and runs on your non-domain-joined personal machines. When you're ready, upgrade in a couple of clicks.
What exactly counts as a "domain-joined" device?
A machine that's a member of a Windows Active Directory domain (typical in offices). Those require Pro or Enterprise. Home PCs, laptops and standalone servers are "non-domain" and work on every plan.
What's the difference between Home and Pro?
Home covers up to 5 personal, non-domain devices. Pro removes the device cap, adds domain-joined machines, and unlocks self-generated API keys so you can wire MAJIC into your own LAN, scripts and tooling.
How is Enterprise priced?
By total installed devices, with volume discounts as you grow — billed monthly. Contact sales for a quote, or estimate it yourself on the sign-up page.
What is API Access and how do credits work?
API Access lets the AI connector (Claude/MCP or REST) act on your fleet — not just report what it found, but actually fix it. It's billed in token-based credits: $5 per 1,000 credits. AI chat round-trips cost ~1 credit per 1,000 tokens, a write/remediation action on a device costs 5 credits, and a domain-level (server) write costs 15 credits. Buy packs of 2k ($9), 10k ($39) or 50k ($179). The free tier-1 connector is read-only — it can list devices and run read checks, but write actions need a paid API Access token. Domain-level write access requires the Enterprise tier.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month and you can cancel from your account at any time. We don't believe in hostage contracts.
Is my data sent to some third-party cloud AI?
No. The AI features run on a private, GPU-hosted multi-LLM stack on hardware you control. Each organisation's AI knowledge and memory is stored in a dedicated database on their own server — physically isolated from every other org, and inaccessible to MAJIC operators. Optional Claude/MCP connectors are read-only by default and use scoped, revocable tokens.
