Joining Pool Party does two things. The moment you sign up — any personal email, no card — a free Basic tier Majic AI account with 1000 seed credits goes live for you. Then, when you install the Majic client from your account's Downloads page, your PC becomes an out-of-LAN node in the Majic node pool: enrolled under your own account, available to you — and to Majic AI as the shared pool rolls out.
How it works
From signup to a live node, honestly described.
1. Sign up with any personal email
Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud and other public providers all work — no company domain, no approval wait, no card. One account per email. Set a password so you can sign in to your new account afterwards.
2. Free Basic tier + 1000 credits, instantly
Signing up provisions a free Basic-tier subscription and seeds 1000 credits to your account in the same request — they're live before the confirmation page finishes rendering. That's the entire grant: no hidden steps, no waitlist.
3. Sign in and open Downloads
Log in at chat.appmajic.ai and open the Downloads page. There's one installer per OS — Windows, macOS or Linux — and it connects the machine to your account.
4. Your PC becomes a pool node
The client registers your machine's GPU into the Majic node pool and keeps it reachable from outside your LAN through an outbound-only connection — no port forwarding, no static IP, and it reconnects on its own after IP or Wi-Fi changes.
5. Available to you — and to Majic AI
Your node is enrolled under your own account and works for you first. The shared side of the pool — spare capacity helping serve Majic AI workloads — is real infrastructure being built and rolled out now. We don't promise earnings or dates; joining early means your node is in the registry as the pool comes online.
6. A server-style setup, disclosed up front
So the node stays reachable, the installer applies a high-performance power plan and turns off sleep on that machine. It runs as a background service that starts at boot. Treat a Pool Party machine like a small server — and uninstall any time to undo it.

Common questions
What exactly do I get for signing up?
A free Basic-tier Majic AI subscription and 1000 seed credits, provisioned the moment your signup succeeds — that's the whole grant, live immediately, no card and no waitlist. If an account already exists for your email, signup says so instead of creating a duplicate.
Does my PC become part of Majic's own infrastructure?
Your machine stays yours and is enrolled under your own account in the Majic node pool. Majic's own servers are separate machines. What you're joining is the shared pool: your node works for you, and as the shared side rolls out, spare capacity helps serve Majic AI workloads too.
Will the client change my PC's settings?
Yes, and we'd rather tell you than have you find out: the installer applies a high-performance power plan and disables sleep so the node stays reachable, and it runs as a background service that starts at boot. It's a server-style setup. Uninstalling removes the service; you can switch your power plan back at any time in Windows settings.
What happens if my home IP address or Wi-Fi changes?
The client reconnects automatically through an outbound-only connection — your machine dials out to Majic, nothing dials in — so no port forwarding or static IP is ever required.
Can I use a work email to sign up?
Pool Party is for individual contributors, so signup requires a personal email address (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, and similar public providers) rather than a company/organization domain.
How many PCs can I add?
One account per email. Each machine you install the client on from your Downloads page is linked to that account.
What's still rolling out?
Three things, all in active development: a personalized installer that enrolls your machine with zero manual steps, a pool view inside the app that lists your nodes under your account, and the shared-pool serving that routes Majic AI workloads to contributed nodes.
